Toyota recalls

I have noticed in the news that the recalls may not fix the problem. there is talk about the electronics. I am just wondering. Do they mean "Cruise Control"? If cruise control is on and there is a bad sensor reading that the cars speed is slowing down, Cruise control would accelerate the car. If another brake sensor is malfunctioning, then it would not turn off when the driver presses on the brake.

I would be curious to know if people who had these problems, if "Cruise Control" was on?
